Dr Navid Hashemi MBBS FANZCA

Dr. Navid Hashemi is an experienced Anaesthetist dedicated to ensuring your safety and comfort during surgical procedures. Navid migrated to Perth from California when he was 10 and attended All Saints College. He went medical school at the University of Western Australia and graduated in 2001. He completed his residency at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital and commenced Anaesthesia training program in 2005. Navid has further honed his expertise through specialized fellowships in Airway Anaesthesia and Research at Fremantle and Obstetric Anaesthesia at King Edwards Memorial. These additional qualifications have equipped him with the knowledge and skills necessary to handle complex airway management and ensure optimal care for pregnant patients undergoing surgery. Navid obtained the Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists in 2011. 

Currently Navid holds a part-time public appointment at Fiona Stanley Hospital and operates his private practice at Precision Anaesthesia in Mosman Park. Navid's professional interests encompass a wide range of adult surgical specialties and has gained valuable experience working in both public and private sectors, with a particular focus on regional anaesthesia techniques to enhance pain control and improve patient outcomes. In his private practice he works regularly with orthopaedic surgeons, plastic and reconstructive surgeons, ENT surgeons, and maxillofacial surgeons.

 

He understands the importance of a thorough evaluation of each patient's medical history to tailor an anaesthetic plan that is safe and specific to their unique needs and surgical requirements. Navid will ensure that your anaesthesia experience is as comfortable and risk-free as possible.
