Dr Ben Greenwood BSc (Hons) MBBS FANZCA

Dr Ben Greenwood is an experienced Consultant Anaesthetist with a Public appointment at Fiona Stanley Fremantle Hospitals Group and accreditation at most major Private Hospitals across Perth.

Dr Greenwood graduated from Guys and St Thomas Hospitals Medical School, University of London. He went on to start Anaesthetic Training in the UK before relocating to Auckland, New Zealand where he completed his specialist training and gained FANZCA.

Dr Greenwood completed Anaesthetic Fellowships at Middlemore Hospital, Auckland and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Perth – all of which are large tertiary referral centres.

His areas of interest include Anaesthesia for ENT, Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, Urology and Obstetrics.
Before your surgery, Dr Greenwood will review your past medical and surgical history and discuss the anaesthetic plan with you. In most cases this a telephone consultation, but for some complex procedures a face to face interview may be required.

Following your procedure, Dr Greenwood is readily contactable through his rooms at Precision Anaesthesia. Dr Greenwood is an HBF preferred provider and this means no funding shortfall for most procedures for patients insured with HBF.

Outside of his professional life, Dr Greenwood enjoys spending time with his young family enjoying the outdoor life that WA has to offer.
