Dr JY Chong is a Specialist Anaesthetist with a tertiary public appointment at Fiona Stanley Hospital and Fremantle Hospital.

Dr Chong’s professional interests encompass a wide range of adult and paediatric surgical specialities, with a particular focus on anaesthesia for plastic/cosmetic, neurosurgery, ENT and orthopaedic surgeries. He has a strong commitment to education and currently oversees the Perioperative Care Unit at Fremantle Hospital.

Dr Chong will always see and speak with you prior to your surgery. For a majority of patients, this will occur in hospital on the day of surgery. He will ensure your anaesthetic experience is tailored to your individual requirements and as comfortable and risk free as possible.  

Outside of work, Dr Chong enjoys playing soccer and spending time with his family and friends.
